Sol. Let AP: PB = $k : 1$
$\frac{2k+1}{k+1} = \frac{8}{5}$
$\Rightarrow k = \frac{3}{2}$
$\therefore$ required ratio is $3: 2$.
$y = \frac{3\times 3+2\times 2}{3+2} = \frac{13}{5}$
$\frac{2k+1}{k+1} = \frac{8}{5}$
$\Rightarrow k = \frac{3}{2}$
$\therefore$ required ratio is $3: 2$.
$y = \frac{3\times 3+2\times 2}{3+2} = \frac{13}{5}$
